WELCOME FROM PRINCIPAL WENDEL
Welcome to Inver Grove Heights Middle School. My name is Jodi Wendel and I am excited to be starting my 30th year as an educator in IGH. This will be my 12th year as principal of this great school. I am also a former student of Inver Grove Heights Middle School and a Simley High School graduate. I am proud of the district that I grew up in and I am honored to work here!
IGHMS serves students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades with an enrollment of about 850 students. We have a dynamic staff of educators that love children, love teaching, and are committed to the success of each student. As middle level educators they identify with the unique combination of emotional growth and academic development that occurs during the young adolescent years.
