It’s time once again for the annual Benefits Open Enrollment period which provides benefit eligible employees the opportunity to make changes to all benefit plan elections.  These changes could include evaluating and changing health plans, adding or dropping dependents, or increasing your life insurance policy.  There are different open enrollment dates as outlined below.  Make sure to submit your documentation in a timely manner!

Medical Insurance: PreferredOne is Inver Grove Heights School District's new Medical Provider. Employees who were previously enrolled in HealthPartners will have their plan elections and dependents from 2017 automatically transferred to PreferredOne. You do not need to re-enroll. Open enrollment will be an opportunity for you to review everything PreferredOne has to offer and make changes if you would like. View the Open Enrollment Guide for additional information.

If you don't do anything, your current plan elections and dependents will continue.

Step 1: Review Open Enrollment Packet and Plan Summaries.
Step 2: Review and Compare Cost Schedule.
Step 3: Complete a New Enrollment Form or Enrollment Change Form.
Step 4: Send completed forms to Human Resources by November 17.

Dental Insurance: HealthPartners will continue to be our dental provider. Open enrollment is your opportunity to enroll in dental insurance or change your plan.

Step 1: Review Dental Plan Summary.
Step 2: Review Plan Rates.
Step 3: Complete Dental Enrollment Form or Dental Change Form.
Step 4: Send completed form to Human Resources by November 17.

Flex Spending for Medical and Child Care Expenses: 
Inver Grove Heights ISD 199 has established a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with MidAmerica to allow you to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for eligible medical expenses. Enrolling in the plan gives you a tax-free way to pay for your eligible medical expenses throughout the year! You can control how much or how little you contribute.
