Five Simley Adapted Bowling Place in State's Top 10

Simley High School Adapted Bowling team sent five competitors to state this May. All of the team members placed in the Top 10 spots in their sections at the state tournament, including three state champions. Congratulations to the students!

Simley Band members visited Hawaii to learn about the state's music as well as the country's history.
Simley Band Travels to Learn and Play

Simley Band students have had a busy spring, traveling to Hawaii, playing at community events, and learning from recognized professors. Don't miss their year-end band concert on May 21 at 7 PM in the Simley Performing Arts Center, where the band will say farewell to seniors before graduation and to Mr. Ochoada before his retirement.

Simley Principal Jerry SakalaSimley High School is a comprehensive secondary school with a student population of about 1,200 in grades 9-12. Simley is dedicated to excellence in academics, offering more than 230 required and elective trimester courses to allow students to design programs to meet their individual needs and talents.

Advanced classes are offered in mathematics, science, English, social studies, art and more. Simley students are able to select activities from a variety of athletic and fine arts programs. Special education services are available in the areas of learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, mildly/moderately mentally disabled, speech/language delays, and adapted physical education. Simley's award-winning Alternative Learning Program is a high school educational experience designed to meet the needs of students who are not successful in the traditional school setting.  more
