After a year of planning, Inver Grove Heights City Hall installed artwork displays to showcase work by Simley High School students. They honored the artists at the City Council’s May 27 meeting. Students and their families attended a reception ahead of the meeting. They had an opportunity to talk to city leaders about their artwork, and they signed the podium sign for the meeting.
During the meeting, City Council members heard from Simley Art Teachers Pat Gilbertson and Jenny Eversman. They spoke about the students and their work as well as their partnership with the city to hang artwork at City Hall. The display included pieces from the AP Art, Art Lab, and Advanced Drawing classes.
Both current and former students attended the meeting to see their artwork displays. Congratulations to all of the artists whose artwork was chosen for the display:

Tras un año de planificación, el Ayuntamiento de Inver Grove Heights instaló exhibiciones de obras de arte para exhibir el trabajo de los estudiantes de Simley High School. Se homenajeó a los artistas en la reunión del Ayuntamiento del 27 de mayo. Los estudiantes y sus familias asistieron a una recepción previa a la reunión. Tuvieron la oportunidad de hablar con los líderes municipales sobre sus obras y firmaron el cartel del podio para la reunión.
Durante la reunión, los miembros del Ayuntamiento escucharon a las profesoras de arte de Simley, Pat Gilbertson y Jenny Eversman. Hablaron sobre los estudiantes y su trabajo, así como de su colaboración con la ciudad para exhibir obras de arte en el Ayuntamiento.
