Wrestling Team Goes Back-to-Back-to-Back; Short, Glenn and Julson Capture Individual State Titles

The Simley wrestling team won its third consecutive State Championship!

The team defeated Foley High School 34-17 in the final round of the State Tournament.

The squad had 13 wrestlers qualify for the individual State Tournament with 11 first-place and two second-place finishes at sections. Three Simley wrestlers won Individual State Titles: Jake Short (130), Tommy Glenn (135) and Kurtis Julson (160).
