Hilltop Elementary School celebrated Read Across America Day with The Cat in the Hat.
Read Across America Day occurs annually on March 2, Dr. Seuss' birthday.
Students attended an assembly where ISD 199's Director of Curriculum Bert Strassburg read Oh the Places You'll Go! The Dr. Seuss theme was present throughout the day. It was Fox in Socks (crazy socks) day and Green Eggs and Ham were served for lunch. Click here to listen to the students' pledge to read every day.
