Simley High School EMT students are honored at banquet

Simley High School’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course graduated its 2018 class this May and celebrated their success at the annual EMT Banquet. The EMT course teaches students what they need to know to get certified as EMTs immediately after high school. Most of the students completed the didactic skills testing and are ready to take their national registry written exam. Students were also recognized for outstanding work at the banquet, including:

  • Hailey Scheffknecht – Most Academic
  • Brad Dohmen – Most Improved
  • Andrea Mata Sarabia – Most Professional
  • Sara Hemmer - Best Didactic skills
  • Odalis Martinez – Best All-Around EMT

Simley is very proud of the young students who took this challenging in-house, college-level course and earned nine college credits.
