A
strong home support system can lead to increased confidence in a
student's academic abilities. Studies have shown that when parents set
expectations and raise the bar to a high yet attainable level, student
performance increases accordingly.
There are a number
of ways for parents to get involved in their child's education. Inver
Grove Heights Community Schools Volunteer Corps members donate time to
assist teachers and students with classroom
activities. For information on how to get involved in a school, click here.
SchoolView is a great way for parents to
monitor their child's attendance, view homework assignments and grades, pay for
lunches and more. For questions regarding SchoolView
or to get set up with an account, contact your SchoolView building
representative.
