Health Services

The mission of the Inver Grove Heights School Health Services is to enhance the education potential of all students by promoting wellness and facilitating the resolution of health concerns which create barriers to learning.

Health Services Provides:

Care for students with illness, accidents and injuries
Assess individual student health and development status
Medication administration
Immunization review and work with families for compliance
Promote and maintain the health and well being of students and staff
Develop health plans for students with health conditions
Provide health accommodations
Implement individual health plans (IHP's)
Provide nursing procedures as needed
Coordinate prevention and control communicable diseases
Vision and hearing screening
Teaching health issues in classrooms
Staff education
Network with community health agencies
Maintain/improve school environment for learning
