Salem Hills Students Assist with Haiti Earthquake Relief at Feed My Starving Children
Third
through fifth grade students at Salem Hills Elementary School are
assisting with Haiti earthquake relief by packaging meals for children
abroad.
Right after the earthquake struck in Haiti, students and
staff at Salem Hills decided that they wanted to do something to help
the Haitian children who were suffering in the aftermath. It was
decided that one way students could lend a hand was by offering time
and talent at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC).
FMSC
was so busy that students had to wait until March to begin helping.
Salem Hills sent classrooms to participate at FMSC on three Thursdays
in March.
