IGH Middle School PTSA Mission Statement

The PTSA will act as an organization to assist in the following key points:

 

  1. To support educational programs and activities that benefit students, school staff, and parents.
  2. To be an additional branch of communication between school and home.
  3. To encourage parent, school, and student involvement in our school and community.
  4. To promote our organization and school in a positive light to the community.

Important News:

Volunteers Needed for Grade Testing Days – Feb. 7, 8, and 9th, 2012.

·         The Middle School needs about 12 volunteers per day for all day.

·         Volunteers are encouraged to bring something to read. 

·         Volunteers will be posted at the computer labs around the middle school and high school.

 

Feb. 7- 6th grade testing day

The PTSA sponsors many activities and events for the students and staff at IGH Middle School: Student Year-End Parties, Staff Appreciation, Mini-Grants for Teacher Requests, Technology for our Classrooms and MUCH more! Join and show your support!

Donate School Supplies All Year The PTSA will continue to collect school supplies throughout the school year.  You can drop off any school supplies at the Main Office or bring them to a PTSA meeting.

Clothes Closet

The Clothes Closet is looking for donations of hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, sweatshirts, etc., that you may see on clearance rack while doing your regular shopping during the course of the year.  We are trying to expand on the clothes closet to fill the needs of our students.

Membership & Volunteer Forms

You can join the PTSA anytime during the school year.  You must be a paid member to vote on any issues that are brought to the PTSA.  We encourage you to attend the meetings so we can have a strong PTSA for our middle school. Print and fill out the attached form and send to the middle school office along with $6.50 in an envelope with “PTSA” on it. Your membership helps out the national, state and the IGH MS PTSA.  Thanks!

We have a variety of wishes from the middle school staff.  If you can help out with a donation of time, talent, money or an item or are just interested, please click on the link above.

To request a wish list, please print and fill out the attached form and put in the PTSA basket beneath the staff mail slots.

PTSA Fundraising Programs
The IGH Middle School PTSA is a funded program through the collection of Campbell's Soup Labels, Box Tops for Education, Milk Caps, and donations.  Click on Link for complete information. 

To make a monetary donation, please send a check made out to the IGH MS PTSA to the middle school office in an envelope addressed to the ‘PTSA.’
