| The mission of the Inver Grove Heights BEST Foundation is to solicit and distribute funds for scholarships for students of Independent School District 199. The Foundation is separate from, but supportive of, the Inver Grove Heights Community Schools.
Your gift to the Inver Grove Heights BEST Foundation can make a great difference in the lives of our young people. You may make an unrestricted gift, designate your gift to a specific existing scholarship, or establish a new scholarship. To begin an endowed scholarship, a minimum of $10,000 is needed. Scholarships may also be given as annual gifts. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Gifts may be sent to:

To donate online via credit card, click the Donate button. When you get to the “Review Your Donation” page, there is a blue box with a + in it - clicking the box will bring up a text box in which you may specify if your donation is a memorial, honorarium, or is to go to an existing scholarship.
The Foundation sponsors several fund-raisers throughout the year, including the May Day 5K, a community-wide 5K run/walk on the first Saturday in May; a Golf Tournament on the fourth Monday in August; and a FUNdraiser Dinner and Silent Auction. Funds generated by these events pay for the operating costs of the Foundation as well as provide funds for the annual IGH BEST Foundation Academic Scholarships.
