Captains’ Responsibilities

·         Maintain high standard of professionalism

·         Exhibit high standard of participation, effort, spirit, and achievement

·         Encourage and support team members

·         Create “Speech Pride Posters” for all team members’ lockers

·         Lead weekly captain’s practice starting week after first meet

·         Lead vocal warm up activities on the bus

·         Assist new team members at speech meets

·         Attend poster making and hanging meeting in early November

·         Recruit new members

·         Assist with fundraising activities

·         Organize and maintain breakfast food and water fund

·         Design and maintain display case for trophies, medals and ribbons

·         Take candid photos of team at meets
