The BEST Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of twenty-one community members, all residents of Inver Grove Heights or graduates of Simley High School, and the Chair of the Board of Education of Independent School District 199.

Each member serves a three year term. Seven members’ terms end at the completion of each fiscal year.

The Board of Directors elects four officers: president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer.

Additionally, there are six ex-officio members: four from the School District, including the Superintendent, Business Manager, Simley Career Center Coordinator and Communication Coordinator; as well as the Executive Director of the Foundation and the School Board Chair..
